I need flowers! That’s what I said, but I don’t want any flowers, I want something that will last for a long time. I got married 10 years ago, and our 10th wedding anniversary is coming next week, now I need to get her something special that symbolises our love.

As I recall when I was browsing my Facebook, I saw pictures of a young fellow giving not just any flowers, its preserved flowers to her girlfriend.

Later that day, I became curious about preserved flowers, so I went online to search if these preserved flowers are available in any flower shop in Metro Manila. It surprises because there are tons of a flower shop who only not sell, but also have a flower delivery anywhere in Metro Manila.

While I was still searching, I found out that preserved flowers in a box, glass, bouquet are increasingly popular these days, especially among millennial. Not only that, it says, it is a better alternative of dried or fresh flowers, because it can last for a long time, with no water or little sun exposure.

With that said, I finally choose preserved flowers as my 10th wedding anniversary gift to my wife, but I need to know if they have my wife’s favourite flower, an Ecuadorian Rose. Thankfully, the website of the online flower shop in Metro Manila has a virtual agent who I can ask if they have preserved Ecuadorian Rose, and they replied that they have a bunch left in their storage.

Before I could book flower delivery, I remember my wife’s favourite Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast, it has magical rose inside a majestic glass dome, and now I wonder if I could make something similar with the preserved Ecuadorian Rose flowers.

But then, while I was browsing the flower shop’s website, I found “The perfect tale,” it has the same glass dome in the film of Beauty and the Beast, but only with a baby pink colour rose, and because of what I saw, I called the flower shop and ask them directly if they could make my request come to life.

I ended the call with the flower shop after hearing they are open for any customised preserved flowers, and later that day, I book preserved flowers and fill up the enquiry for to have flower delivery in Metro Manila.

Today is the date of our 10th wedding anniversary, and after a week of waiting, the flower delivery knocks on my doorstep, and now I finally received the preserved flowers I ordered.

Without further ado, I called my wife to give her preserved flowers, and it was the best smile I ever saw since our wedding day. She cried with a smile on her face; she said she feels like a princess in Beauty and the Beast when she saw the preserved flowers in the glass dome.

If you are not a fan of fresh flowers because it dies after a week or two, then get a preserved flower that can last for years. Get one from a flower shop called Knot PH, have a flower delivery knocks on your door anywhere in Metro Manila.
