Here are some of the picturesque spots you can visit on your Little India trip:

1. Sakya Muni Buddha Gaya Temple

You can make your first stop at this 1927 temple known for its huge Buddha statue and a collection of lamp fixtures. The statue stands at about 15 meters high and weighs around 300 tons. You can also take photos of its chain of lights which earns its moniker as the Temple of 1,000 Lights.

2. Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple

This Hindu temple is a popular spot in Little India known for its scenic and colourful exteriors. You can snap some shots of the little vibrant statues covering the entire temple. Aside from being a place of worship, Sri Veeramakaliamman also offers event space rental services in Singapore for weddings and other religious gatherings.

3. Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple

Sri Srinivasa Perumal is another temple known for its intricate design and is often mistaken as Sri Veeramakaliamman. This temple was built in honour of Krishna, one of Vishnu’s incarnations. You can find relics of different Hindu deities like Murugan, Anjaneyar, and Mahalakshmi hanging on the temple perfect for your afternoon photo session.

4. Leong San See Temple

If you’re looking for something of Chinese influence in Singapore, then you can visit Leong San See Temple. This temple is an eye-catcher with its vivid accents of red and gold which has a resemblance to a Chinese palace. You can also get free vegetarian food from them during lunar events and holidays.

5. House of Tan Teng Niah

You can easily spot this 2-storey structure because of its lively and colourful exteriors. The villa was constructed in 1900 and is considered as one of the few remaining Chinese buildings along Little India.
